Over breakfast, Vivek Chaudhri, Associate Professor of Strategy, will discuss 'Leading through Uncertainty'.
There’s no dearth of theoretical (and practical) commentary on the dimensionality and rate of change that today’s organisations are dealing with. The calls for transformational leadership, of embracing organisational ambidexterity, managing disruptive innovation while traversing uncertain futures and ensuring inter-temporal value creation are espoused in the popular and financial press. But behind all the rhetoric and jargon, there exist some simple principles for leaders navigating a risky and uncertain terrain. In this talk, we will distil some of the fundamentals of leadership efficacy in uncertain domains.
