MBS Mt Buller Snow Trip 2026

Join us for an exciting getaway at Mt Buller from August 20th-23rd! Whether you're looking to relax in the snowy mountain atmosphere or hit the slopes for some skiing or snowboarding, this event has something for everyone. Your ticket includes accommodation for three nights, along with breakfast and snacks to keep you fuelled for the adventure.

Please note that lift passes, lessons, equipment, and transport are separate costs and will be at your discretion to organise. The Social Spirits Society team will help to coordinate carpooling for those interested in sharing a ride.

In addition to outdoor fun during the days, enjoy group dinners in the evenings, where you can connect with your MBS community. The event is open to current students, alumni, and their partners. Whether you're a seasoned snow enthusiast or just here to enjoy the winter vibes, this event promises a weekend full of relaxation, excitement, and camaraderie. Don't miss out!

Mt Buller is an easy three-hour drive from Melbourne, with the University of Melbourne Alpine Lodge located across the road from Mt Buller Village.

Check in on Thursday is available any time after 2pm.

Check out is by 10am on Sunday, but bag storage is available for those wanting to enjoy the mountain a little longer.

Clean, modern share-style accommodation, each room has two bunk beds with an upper and lower bed (total 4 beds). The lodge also has a fully-equipped kitchen, open-plan lounge and dining room, stone fireplace, TV and we’ll be bringing some games along as well! While pillows are supplied, you’ll need to bring your own linen (sleeping bags/doona/blankets, sheets, pillowslip & towel), toiletries & hair dryers.
