MBA's on Not-for-Profit Boards
Making a Personal Impact

Have you ever thought about how people are selected to join boards? Have you considered volunteering at a Not for Profit (NFP) using your unique skill set? Do you think that board positions are only for those who have retired or at the late stages of their careers? Come to this special panel event put on by the MBS Net Impact Club to find out more.

The skills acquired through our MBA studies can prove to be very useful to an organisation needing experience in Finance, Marketing, Operations and Strategy to name a few. With Australia’s NFP sector requiring over 400k board directors to help manage these organisations (MBS is one of those organisations), there are many possibilities for the right people.

Our guests will talk through the needs of the NFP sector and provide some insight to make the wider MBS community aware of the impact they (you) can have and some next steps if you are considering starting or expanding on this journey.

Panel Speakers:

Sally Leake
State Manager of Victoria, Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD)
Richard Miller
Partner and Payments Practice
Leader, Deloitte
Rob Soros
Strategic Risk Adviser and Management Consultant

Light refreshments and nibbles will be provided.

Please note: This event is being held in the Bouverie Room in the Conference Centre, located at 168 Leicester Street.
