The MBS Consulting Club helps MBS students decide whether they should pursue a career in management consulting and provides those students who have chosen a career in consulting with the resources and guidance to navigate successfully through the interview process. The Club assists companies in engaging with the highly accomplished talent pool at MBS through a wide range of events. Finally, the club assists MBS students in networking with MBS alumni and industry experts.

Welcome to the MBS Debate Club!

Our mission is to help fellow MBS students become great Debaters, critical thinkers, and awesome public speakers.

Debating can help with
--------------------------------

(a) Critical thinking: Learn how to think, and speak about topics that matter in this generation, in a structured manner.
(b) Public speaking: Don't we all want to avoid it? But then, don't we all want to be that person on the dais, who everyone almost hypnotically listens to?
(c) Academic success: Just debating on a vast array of topics will help you learn about topics you may not learn from any of the subjects.
(d) Professional success: Having debated can take you further at other schools (exchange), secure reputed scholarships, and at some jobs

We offer a range of training, and debating opportunities for beginners and experienced debaters to learn to debate and improve their public speaking skills, as well as compete with different cohorts at the school, and also with AGSM in the annual MBA cup.

We meet every alternate Friday between 6 pm and 7:30 pm for training, debating, and related practices. Our Slack channel #club_debate is the quickest way to stay aware of training venues, and dates. New members are always welcome, just come along!

The Marketing Association is a peer to peer based discussion group, which aims to extend the learning experience from class. It  gives members further opportunity to delve into real life challenges faced  by those in the marketing profession, with the support of the MBS world renowned professors.

The goal is to facilitate peer to peer discussion around all things Marketing. We hope to create a forum where people can bring forward Marketing challenges, issues or opportunities either out of personal interest, or a from a business context.
The forum gives you a way to workshop your ideas in a safe environment with a broad range of MBS students, Alumni & Staff. People can share their experience with similar issues, or can help uncover different approaches for investigating in a different light. Frameworks from class can be overlaid to structure feedback.

Originally founded as The Whisky Club, The Social Spirits Society aims to connect MBS students, staff and alumni through social events, with a focus on learning about the alcoholic beverage industry. The Society holds a number of events annually for its members that are fun, educational, and provide opportunities for professional and personal networking. Learn about local and foreign wines, whiskeys, beers and spirits, hear from leading professionals in the industry, visit interesting venues, and most importantly... drink!
