MBS Monthly Mixer

Melbourne Business School together with the Melbourne Alumni Chapter (MAC) and the Student Representative Council (SRC) invite you to the MBS Monthly Mixer.

The MBS Monthly Mixer will be held on the first Friday of every month at the Hub at Melbourne Business School. The Mixer is an opportunity for alumni, students, faculty and staff of MBS to connect, re-connect and network.

Complimentary first drink on arrival and finger food throughout the evening. Thereafter drinks can be bought at modest bar prices.

This month you will have the opportunity to join in on a wine tasting from Wineorder.
Wineorder, owned by Rob & Karen Vosjan, is a boutique wine agency representing a balanced selection of wineries producing exceptional hand crafted wines which are truly representative of their respective regions.

These wineries are ambassadors of the best wine regions in Australia, France, Germany and Italy - Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Valley, Macedon Ranges, Heathcote, Ballarat, Grampians and Strathbogie Ranges in Victoria, Champagne, Beaujolais, Burgundy, Irancy, Côtes du Rhône and Bordeaux in France, Rheinhessen in Germany and Veneto, Tuscany, Piemonte and Sicily in Italy.

Rob has a depth of knowledge having familiarised himself with all aspects of the industry. Beginning in the vineyard tending to the vines, the fruit and the harvest, Rob gained an appreciation and respect for terroir. Participating in the winemaking process gave Rob a healthy respect for the creativity, skill and passion which are essential characteristics of good winemakers. Rob then made the transition to retail and established Winelounge on the Mornington Peninsula, one of the first outlets in Victoria to merge a wine bar with a retail outlet. Throughout that period, Rob had the pleasure to meet many gifted winemakers. It was after considerable pressure from some of those winemakers that Rob, together with Karen, made the transition from wine bar to wine agency, establishing Wineorder and representing those wineries.

From vine to glass, Rob and Karen have a keen appreciation of the wine industry and are committed to ensuring that each customer is introduced to wines they will love.
