The Charles Goode Oration

Mark Ritson, Adjunct Professor, Melbourne Business School
The 2017 Charles Goode Oration guest speaker will be none other than the inimitable Mark Ritson, Adjunct Professor Marketing, MBS.

A well known face to the MBS alumni community over the decades, Mark is one of our favourite members of teaching staff who has helped the School to be recognised as one of the top 3 schools in the world for Marketing as ranked by the Financial Times Global MBA ranking.

Mark is busy currently preparing his content for what will undoubtedly be an entertaining, enlightening and amusing address.

"Why are MBS alumni the best in the world", asks Mark on the evening of Thursday, 26th October 2017 at Melbourne Museum.

Get ready for some tongue in cheek references coupled with evidence based facts that will ensure you realise just how special the MBS alumni community is!

The history behind the Charles Goode Oration...

In 2010 ANZ, a founding Donor Member of MBS, committed to an annual contribution to support the Charles Goode Oration at the MBS Annual Alumni Dinner.

The commitment was made to honour the service of Charles Goode AC as ANZ Chairman from 1995 to 2010. ANZ generously supported the oration for five years (2010 – 2014).

Today, thanks to the continued generous support by Charles Goode, the oration still delivers valuable and relevant content from notable business leaders, enabling MBS to deliver lifelong learning opportunities to its alumni community.
