Description

After an amazing breakfast as part of the Global Alumni Celebration and our Dean’s presentation on the global and local economic trends, we are delighted to invite you to our next educational event, an insider view on recruitment and jobhunting strategies. James Fairbairn, a Partner at Lester Blades Executive Search, will be sharing his views on job market equilibrium and providing insights on maximization of your career potential.

James has worked in the recruitment sector since 1995, being actively engaged in both the UK and Australian markets. Prior to commencing with Lester Blades in 2013 James gained considerable experience in the local market having worked for two of Perth's highest profile executive search and HR consulting firms subsequent to his emigration to Western Australia in 2006. Over the last 23 years James has advised and acted on behalf of a broad portfolio of organisations, ranging from ASX200 corporations to privately owned family businesses and not-for profits. His work is predominantly in the appointment of senior executives and professionals.

In 2015, James released his first book, Career Karma. After being witness to how many small nuances can affect candidates' career trajectory, James has shared his experience to enable anyone and everyone to take charge of their career and maximise their chances of success.

James is the President and Chairman of the Board of Bicycling Western Australia which is a not-for-profit membership-based organisation, that focuses on providing benefits and a voice for their members as well as putting on top quality events that are open to all recreational cyclists.

Join us for the exciting discussion that could change your career!
