Description

The Melbourne Business School Marketing Association is proud to present the Spring debate, hosted again by Adj. Professor Mark Ritson. This time we will hear from St. George Bank, with Kate Kissane, head of brand and advertising along with Matt Forbes, Head of Insight Integration, Westpac Group. The team will discuss how St George have rediscovered and revitalised the brand with great success. As always our guest panel of experts will provide discussion and lively debate on the evening. 

Join us for networking drinks prior to the event from 5.30pm in the HUB, with the debate kicking off at 6.30pm in LT1. 

About Kate Kissane: Head of St.George Brand and Advertising

Experienced marketing leader with over 15 years experience specialising in service based organisations. Kate has worked across multiple marketing disciplines including Brand, Acquisition Marketing, CRM, and Customer Segment Strategy with brands such as Telstra, Yellow Pages, Westpac, BT Financial Group and most recently St.George Bank. Kate now proudly leads the St.George brand strategy and marketing program. St.George was recently ranked Australia’s 9th most valuable brand and Australia’s most valuable regional brand.


About Matt Forbes: Head of Insight Integration, Westpac Group
Matt is a an experienced commercial marketer, with deep expertise is market research, insight generation, analytics and brand management.  During his 8 year tenure at Westpac he has played a leadership role in many transformation programs including; defining the Multi-brand Portfolio Strategy, implementing data led media planning and developing a new marketing operating model and planning system. Prior to joining Westpac Matt worked in Research Consulting across a variety of industries in both the Private and Public sectors.
