We are thrilled to welcome an exceptional lineup of guest speakers:
1) Chris Larkins, Senior Vice President of Operations at CSL Seqirus
Chris joined the CSL Seqirus business in 2015 and his most recent role is Senior Vice President operations. Chris has over 29 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry across a range of Operations, Quality and Supply Chain roles specializing in vaccines, biologics and sterile manufacturing. In 2001 Chris joined Schering-Plough Ltd. in Singapore as Head of Production to build, commission and gain FDA approval of a new sterile manufacturing plant. He was later promoted to Director of Operations .In 2007 Chris relocated to Lucerne, Switzerland as Head of Quality and QP at Schering’s Biologics facility producing a range of clinical Biologic Drug Substances and Clinical Supplies. Following the merger with Merck & Co. Chris relocated to Pennsylvania, U.S to manage Global Quality across 5 sites in Europe and the United States. Chris holds a B.Eng. (Chem) from the University of Melbourne and an M.B.A. from the Chicago Booth School of Business.
2)George Macleod, Head of Terminals Australia at Ampol Australia
With over 25 years experience in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (local and international), George has successfully managed large teams to deliver end to end logistics solutions for bp Australia, Nestle UK and Danone UK. He joined Ampol as the National Carrier Operations Manager in 2021 and
commenced the role of Head of Terminals Australia in early 2023 accountable for the safe, reliable and efficient operations for Ampol Terminals, Pipelines and JVs nationally.
3)Pasquale Gullone, General Manager Operations at Bega Cheese
Experienced Operations Manager with a strong leadership and manufacturing background developed with Goodman Fielder, Nestle, Simplot, Betta Foods, Costa, Victoria Carpets and Bega. Passionate advocate of continuous improvement who has delivered significant savings through innovative thinking, inspiring others and change management techniques.
4)Libby Ward-Christie, Executive Director - Social Purpose Centre
Libby is a recognised leader in Australia's social purpose ecosystem. Prior to joining Melbourne Business School, Libby was Director of the Centre for Social Impact at Swinburne University of Technology and a member of the Centre for Social Impact National Executive.
Prof. Kannan Sethuraman, Associate Professor at Melbourne Business School will also be joining us for this event.
