Have you been thinking of creating your own start-up but don’t know where to start filling that blank sheet of paper?

The MBS Melbourne Alumni Chapter (MAC) invites you to attend From 0 to 1 – building your idea into a high performing business. In this seminar, a panel of two experienced entrepreneurs and an innovation academic will talk you through common principles of a start-up, where to start and the challenges involved.

We’ll hear from Doron Ben-Meir who first floated his start-up when he was 25. He’s created a few more since then. Doron will talk about his journey and how he put pen to paper.
This will be followed up by our own MBS lecturer Kwanghui Lim who will bring the strategy back in to your start-up and provide you the tools to begin.
Last but not the least, Georgia Beattie will talk us through the start-up environment in Melbourne and the challenges faced by entrepreneurs.

All of this will be followed by an open Q&A with the audience. We’ll finish the night with networking drinks and nibbles afterwards.

Timing:
6.00pm - Registration
6.30pm - Panel convenes
7.30pm - Networking, drinks and nibbles

Please note: This event is free of charge. MBS will provide nibbles and drinks can be purchased from the bar (card only).
